Position Summary

We're looking for a diligent and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage our end-to-end AR process. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, diligent cash collection, and effective management of outstanding receivables. You'll play a key part in maintaining healthy client relationships through professional communication and swift resolution of billing inquiries. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to support critical financial operations, including monthly close and audit preparations. You'll also contribute to process improvements and assist with various team projects.

Responsibilities

End to End Accounts Receivable Process

• Prepare and issue accurate and timely customer invoices based on contract terms or billing schedules.
• Record cash collections daily and reconcile against outstanding receivables.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follows up with clients on overdue balances.
• Closely monitoring and follow up with past-due accounts (emails and calls).
• Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger monthly such as but not limited to AR Clients, AR Others , Deferred Revenue etc
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or payment issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Address client queries and requests on a timely basis.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in the accounting system.
• Support monthly closing processes and provide documentation for audits.

Recommend process improvement.

Assist on team projects and ad-hoc tasks based on company requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable and handling international clients.
• Prior experience working with U.S. clients or in a BPO/outsourcing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with accounting software , NetSuite or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, punctual and time-sensitive.
• Outstanding Excel Abilities in MS Office especially Excel
• Keen eye for process and quality improvement
• Customer Relation Skills and good interpersonal Skills
• Ability to stay focused on tasks while meeting up with deadlines.
• Proficiency in accounting, and the ability to help with accounting functions.
• Willing to work on a hybrid schedule and flexible to extend or change schedule as needed.
• Ability to work independently during U.S. business hours.
• Background with payroll is a plus but not required.
• Live near Eastwood

Work Location

• Homebased but must be willing to report to office if there are important meeting and company events
• Nightshift, will be working hybrid dayshift for the first month
• Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)
