Role

The project is a leading Australian fire safety provider protecting lives and assets across healthcare, data centres, education, and commercial spaces. We're looking for an aspiring Accounts Receivable Officer to join the team. Responsibilities
  • Own the numbers: Process accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Drive improvement: Identify opportunities to refine policies and recommend smarter processes.
  • Protect what matters: Handle sensitive financial information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Be audit-ready: Support both internal and external audits with confidence.
  • Keep cash flowing: Prepare and process cash receipts seamlessly.
  • Stay on top: Perform timely, accurate account reconciliations.
  • Lead collections: Manage collection efforts and related functions to keep everything on track.
What makes you a great fit
  • You have an Associate's degree in Accounting (or related field) and 1–3 years of hands-on Accounts Receivable experience.
  • You know your way around AR functions, including collections, invoicing, and reconciliations.
  • You bring knowledge of Australian accounting processes and a solid grounding in basic accounting principles.
  • You're familiar with accounting systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Navision and are eager to sharpen your expertise further.
  • You bring proven skills in Microsoft Office, with advanced know-how in Excel.
  • You thrive on accuracy and detail, with the ability to analyze large sets of data and spot what others might miss. You communicate clearly—verbal, written, or across teams.

Process
  • You'll go through 3–4 interviews plus a possible assessment with our client partner. Includes an initial chat, a culture-fit interview, and 1–2 conversations with the client. The process usually takes 1–2 weeks; we'll update you if things move quicker.
  • Be yourself and enjoy the conversations. We'll keep you updated every step of the way, and you're welcome to reach out for updates anytime.
  • If all goes well, we'll complete reference checks and requirements quickly to accelerate a job offer.
