About the Role

You’ll spend most of your time leading and supervising a payroll team while ensuring accurate, timely payroll for both in-house and outsourced operations. You’ll serve as an escalation point, drive quality assurance, and deliver continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a payroll team (90% supervision, 10% processing).
  • Act as escalation point and backup for team leads/Associate Manager.
  • Conduct coaching and performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll: gross-to-net, pay distribution, GL feed, audits, reporting, compliance submissions, and post-pay run tasks.
  • Ensure client service delivery while balancing staffing and efficiency goals.
  • Drive quality assurance and process improvements.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 5+ years of payroll processing experience.
  • 3+ years in a supervisory/team lead role.
  • Exposure to global payroll operations .
Good-to-Have
  • Shared services or multinational environment experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll process improvements or automation.
  • Experience in quality assurance of payroll processes.
