Payroll Supervisor

About the Role
You’ll spend most of your time leading and supervising a payroll team while ensuring accurate, timely payroll for both in-house and outsourced operations. You’ll serve as an escalation point, drive quality assurance, and deliver continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a payroll team (90% supervision, 10% processing).
- Act as escalation point and backup for team leads/Associate Manager.
- Conduct coaching and performance reviews for direct reports.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll: gross-to-net, pay distribution, GL feed, audits, reporting, compliance submissions, and post-pay run tasks.
- Ensure client service delivery while balancing staffing and efficiency goals.
- Drive quality assurance and process improvements.
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience.
- 3+ years in a supervisory/team lead role.
- Exposure to global payroll operations .
- Shared services or multinational environment experience.
- Knowledge of payroll process improvements or automation.
- Experience in quality assurance of payroll processes.
