Job Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor will oversee the financial and accounting functions of the clinic. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with company policies and government regulations, and effective management of accounting staff. The Accounting Supervisor will also support management in decision-making by providing timely and accurate financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the clinic's accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and budget forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenues to support operational and strategic goals.
  • Coordinate with clinic management regarding budget utilization, cost control, and financial planning.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support external and internal audits by preparing required documentation and schedules.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of accounting staff.
  • Collaborate with HR and Admin regarding employee benefits, payroll concerns, and statutory remittances.
