The Compensation and Benefits Head will lead the employee benefit programs and policies; evaluate and support the design of effective Compensation and Benefits solutions, tools and processes.

THE ROLE:

  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and company objectives.
  • Review and amend existing Compensation and Benefits policies & processes and create one for those non-existing and crucial to document for business process and department's improvement.
  • Ensure accuracy of all handled information including reports, payroll instructions, databases among others; and process such information in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal KPI.
  • Oversee correct and timely processing of payroll, enrollment to HMO, and administration of leaves and other benefits of the employees, as well as remittances of statutory contributions and payment processing of all endorsed billings.
  • Monitor C&B vendor service agreements, create system performance and evaluate and escalate any potential issues.
  • Ensure correctness of regular reports such employee master list, overtime filing and crediting, leave usage, HMO utilization and others that will support and enable relevant business programs and activities before sending/presenting to the board.
  • Manage employee 201 files and ensuring that these are compliant with the company's documentation standards.
  • Act as project lead to any ongoing systems integration or systems improvements related to Core HR (HRIS), Payroll and Benefits administration.
  • Design, monitor and evaluate team and individual performance goals and hold regular performance conversations to effectively manage the service delivery of the team.
  • Participate in and perform other tasks that will contribute to the overall success of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Accountancy, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Candidate must have 10 years progressive experience in handling compensation and benefits; 5 years in Senior Leadership.
  • Preferably with experience working in restaurants or local FMCG (with no less than 1000 employees)
  • Knowledgeable in Salary Structure & Benefits Benchmarking
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, handle sensitive information with discretion, and demonstrate high attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in various HR Payroll Software and HRIS systems
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Amenable working onsite, office-based in Pioneer, Mandaluyong City
