  • Develops detailed manufacturing drawings using Solidworks and AutoCad softwares. Assist counterpart designers in creating details out of the original designs.
  • Closely coordinates with designer/ customer with regards to new design and design change requirements of products.
  • Handles and Coordinates new product development.
  • Ensures completeness and correctness of drawings during trial/ development stage using a standard checklist as guide.
  • Ensures updated drawings and solidworks files are saved in the Eng'g folder.
  • Evaluates new materials, parts or components. Provides assistance in identifying and evaluating alternative parts.
  • Monitors progress of newly developed products and coordinates with production and production engineering for some adjustments.
  • Ensures On-time completion of drawings based on target/ standard leadtime.
  • Ensures readiness of drawings in server before production.
  • Prepares RTP for new materials, parts and components.
  • Performs on-time creation of Part number and BOM uploading for NEW Products in Vision.
  • Performs on time updating of monitoring file.
  • Complies to all company and departmental policies and memos. Follows proper and on-time filing of leave. Observe proper wearing of uniform and PPEs & complies with 5S, safety & ISO standards.
  • Consistently conducts proper reporting in VISION.
  • Attends scheduled training and other company sponsored activities.

Qualification:

  • Education: Preferably with Industrial electronics or Equivalent Course.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry; experience in wiring harness assembly is an advantage.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good written and oral communication, can interact with Supervisors.
  • Can work in any shift and under pressure.
  • Resilient, enthusiastic, self-reliant, and can work well with teams.
