CAD Operator and Document Controller

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related technical field; vocational graduates with CAD training may also apply.
  • At least 2 -3 years of experience in CAD drafting and document control in construction or engineering projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and knowledgeable in technical drawings, document numbering, and filing systems.
  • Skilled in MS Office and familiar with construction documentation standards and archiving procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple documents and deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, with integrity in handling confidential project documents.
  • Willing to relocate in Botolan, Zambales.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive and register engineering drawings, technical changes, contracts and other documents, establish classified ledgers, and ensure that the original documents are properly preserved
  • Sort and organize construction logs, inspection reports, concealed works records and other materials by time/category to ensure synchronization with the project progress
  • Number and manage key documents (such as design changes and negotiation records), and supervise all parties to sign and affix their seals
  • Summarize the completion drawings (which should reflect all the changed contents), quality assessment forms, etc., bind them into a volume and transfer them to the construction/supervision unit and the archives
  • Distribute documents to construction, supervision and other units, record the receipt situation, and track the status of document circulation
  • Verify the completeness of the acceptance documents (such as construction permits, material review forms), and urge the supplementation of missing documents
  • Manage the project seal, organize the borrowing records of documents, and prevent document loss or tampering
  • Creating, modifying, and optimizing 2D/3D design drawings based on engineering requirements and technical specifications
