We are urgently looking for a highly skilled AutoCAD Designer with extensive experience in facade design, aluminum and glass systems, and curtain wall detailing. The ideal candidate is someone who can translate architectural concepts into precise shop drawings and fabrication details that align with project standards in the construction industry.


CORE FUNCTIONS

  1. Technical Design & Drafting

  2. Prepare accurate shop drawings, assembly details, and fabrication layouts for facade and curtain wall systems.

  3. Ensure designs comply with architectural intent, engineering calculations, and material specifications.

  4. Coordination & Documentation

  5. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to resolve technical discrepancies.

  6. Maintain updated drawing records and ensure proper documentation for every project milestone.

  7. Quality Assurance & Compliance

  8. Review and check drawings for dimensional accuracy and material compatibility.

  9. Ensure that all design outputs adhere to company standards, safety codes, and client requirements.

KEY RESULT AREAS (KRAs)
  • Accuracy & Quality of Drawings:

    Produce precise, clear, and technically compliant CAD drawings with minimal revisions.
  • Project Coordination:

    Timely submission of drawings aligned with project schedules and coordination meetings.
  • Design Optimization:

    Provide practical and cost-effective design solutions for facade and curtain wall systems.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
  • 100% compliance with drawing standards and project specifications.
  • 95% on-time delivery rate of drawings and revisions.
  • ≤ 5% drawing error or revision rate after QA review.
  • Active participation in at least 90% of coordination meetings.
  • Achieve 100% documentation completeness before project turnover.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate of Architecture, Civil Engineering, or any related technical course.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting focused on facade and curtain wall systems.
  • Strong knowledge in aluminum, glass, and structural glazing systems.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), with experience in SketchUp, Revit, or Rhino as an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings with precision.
