JOB DESCRIPTION:

The HR Assistant plays a pivotal role in executing and enhancing key HR functions, including employee relations, timekeeping, training coordination, compliance, policy implementation, and end-to-end recruitment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor daily timekeeping activities, ensuring accuracy, policy compliance, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Coordinate and track employee learning and development programs, including new hire orientations, training calendars, and attendance.
  • Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and escalating complex matters to HR leadership as needed.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of compliance reports and HR documentation in line with company policies and local labor regulations.
  • Maintain and safeguard employee records with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and process improvements.
  • Conduct research, data analysis, and employee surveys to inform HR initiatives and improve employee engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support business and talent needs.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating assessments, and onboarding.
  • Perform other HR-related duties and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in HR, ideally in a generalist or multi-functional role.
  • Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (formerly GSuite) and HR information systems; experience with timekeeping or payroll systems is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Willing to work onsite at Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.
