Fabric Purchasing Officer

What you'll be doing:

  • Makes Purchase Orders and send to respective to the supplier; follows-up with supplier/s the status of PO  based on agreed delivery dates as necessary;
  • Monitor Lab dip/Color/Strike-off  approvals
  • Communicate with suppliers for the Shipping documents
  • Checks with the supplier the commercial invoices against purchase orders; ensures all items are match and accurate as ordered;
  • Prepares Proforma Invoice based in shipping documents
  • Manages inventory balances

Qualifications / experience required:

  • Bachelor degree preferably Business Administration, Accountancy or Finance
  • 1– 2 years experience in a Purchasing role in the garment insdustry including data entry; background in purchasing systems is an advantage;
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proactive, highly organized, keen into details, flexible and willing to work extended hours;
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (will be working with foreign accounts);
  • Analytical and have the ability to solve purchasing and inventory related problems

NOTE: You must be willing to work on-site office location Makati City.  Please indicate in the cover letter your willingness to work in the office.
