  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
  • With at least 3 years of work experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably dealing with suppliers.
  • Organized, shows initiative, and can work efficiently and quickly.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Prepare Purchase Order (PO) based on the approved requisition.
  • Encode P.O. to PMS, forward to Accounting for price conformation.
  • Process signing of P.O. to respective signatories.
  • Fax to Supplier the approved P.O. and distribute copies to copy owners.
  • Follow-up and coordinate with supplier regarding the delivery of all ordered items.
  • File all Purchase Order and Receiving Report copies.
  • Check quality of delivery of items ordered if in accordance with the requirements and release P.O. original copy for receiving purposes.
  • Update Merchandiser and DM regarding the status of P.O. and advise
  • Inventory Controller and Production Coordinator of possible delays on delivery of items ordered.
  • Report immediately to Merchandiser and Supplier discrepancies on delivered items.
  • Prepare Sales Production Order (SPO) for item stock number to be open in readiness of production as per advice and approval of the Division Manager.
  • Coordinate with Sales Department the confirmation of the SPO.
  • Prepare sample item of prototype for PO in connection with the product development.
  • File record of swatches of fabrics and accessories.
  • Take charge of wash test of new fabrics and compute the conversion or yield using the conversion table.
  • Prepare memos for contractors on production concerns.
  • File all Fabric and Accessories Requisitions, Approval Slips, and
  • Perform his/her work meeting customer's and applicable regulatory requirements supporting achievement of quality objectives of the unit and consistent with the quality policy.
