
Sales Manager

The Sales Manager at Phoenix Water Solutions will lead the sales department to achieve revenue targets and drive growth through strategic planning, data analysis, and team leadership. This position will be responsible for developing tailored client proposals, managing the sales process, identifying new market opportunities, and enhancing team performance through effective training and process development.
The Sales Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales and Markerting to ensure that all sales activities align with the company's vision, goals, and market expansion strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and deliver tailored proposals to potential clients using pricing data and market analysis
- Oversee the deal data management system ensuring accuracy and integration across sales platforms
- Lead market research efforts to develop and maintain dynamic lead lists for new target markets
- Manage client and prospect information systems to enhance sales efficiency
- Conduct thorough grant research to identify 100+ funding opportunities annually for projects and partnerships
- Oversee and evaluate post-deal reviews to refine strategies and improve future performance
- Develop and implement training processes for new sales team members, including scripts and follow-up procedures
- Produce and present monthly sales reports with insights on key metrics, trends, and strategic recommendations
- Coordinate trade show logistics to maximize brand visibility and business development opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
- Proven ability to manage and grow a sales team to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales performance data
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, ServiceTitan, etc.) and data management tools
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and adapt to changing market conditions
- Experience in event or trade show coordination is a plus
