The qualified candidate will be ultimately responsible for growing the Human Nature business within their assigned key account/s in a manner that is aligned with Human Nature's values and ways of working (some of which do not subscribe to the industry norm).
As the
Retail Sales Group Development Manager
, the candidate will be accountable for achieving both individual and team objectives related to sales targets, collections, and merchandising excellence
.
He/she must lead the team in effectively communicating our advocacies, brand objectives, and all essential business fundamentals to both internal and external stakeholders in order to meet organizational goals. The role also requires strong collaboration skills, as the manager will regularly coordinate with various departments—including the Order Processing Group, Trade Marketing, Merchandising Operations, Category Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain, both internally and externally.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conceptualizes, develops, implements, and monitors plans towards the achievement of targets of his/her account as well as the total team. He/she should be able to provide work direction to the team being handled so that sales and distribution targets are achieved on a monthly basis.
- Conducts consultation meetings, business reviews, and trade checks with accounts to ensure that sales fundamentals and targets are achieved.
- Maintains and grows the company's relationship with assigned accounts with an emphasis on developing new business opportunities through increased distribution, product expansions, campaign development and ensures that these are anchored to our company's advocacies
- Leads regular alignment sessions, coaching ,and mentoring activities of the team to develop performance, personality, skills, and spiritual growth
- Provides monthly sales forecast and product demand forecast as needed.
- Oversees inventory management of more than 100 enlisted SKUs, conducts regular assortment review, monitors out-of-stocks, overstocks, and on-shelf availability.
- Leads regular business updates and business reviews, ensuring that the company is hitting the account's objectives and vice versa. This also includes competitive reports or feedback that is crucial to our business

a. Identifies process, trainings, and rewards needed to elevate the team's productivity and ensure company loyalty
b. Influences and leads the team to any social and spiritual activities that promote our company advocacies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree holder
- Must have 5 years of experience with account management/sales, preferably in the FMCG sector
- Must be a people manager for at least 2 years.
- Must be action and detail-oriented, with an eye and passion for excellence
- Must be flexible, possessing good interpersonal skills
- Must possess the leadership skills to lead the tri-partite team in ensuring perfect and consistent execution across doors
- With proven ability to effectively sell products and ideas, with experience in presenting new products and closing deals.
- Has good organization and time management skills
- Has strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms, including profit margins and shelf space, while advocating for company initiatives.
- With the ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and accounts, fostering trust and loyalty.
- Experience in handling Robinson's account is an advantage.
- Must be willing to travel often to key accounts in Metro Manila and provincial when needed.
Skills Required:
- Well-versed in Key Account Management
- Good presentation skills with high proficiency in the use of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively communicate upwards (to the founders), laterally (to colleagues), and with direct reports.
- Leadership skills to successfully steer a team of colleagues to deliver objectives
- Persuasive skills to influence key decision-makers
- Strategic and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills and analytical abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knows how to drive
- Lastly, but no less important, are persuasive and negotiation skills
