Position Overview:

The Group Sales Manager for FMCG is responsible for overseeing the sales operations within a designated group of accounts, ensuring that sales targets and objectives are met, and driving business growth. The role involves managing a team of sales representatives, building strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and executing strategies to enhance brand visibility and market share for the company's fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) products.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve group sales targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities in the region and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Manage the sales forecasting process for the region and ensure that targets are met.

Team Management:

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and development opportunities.
  • Organize regular team meetings to review sales performance, discuss challenges, and share best practices.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers to ensure profitable business terms.
  • Address customer complaints and issues to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Market Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for product expansion.
  • Ensure effective market penetration through strategic promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute product launches and promotions.

Sales Performance and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze sales data to assess performance against targets.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Budget and Cost Management:

  • Manage the regional sales budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness in sales operations.
  • Optimize the use of resources to achieve the best ROI (Return on Investment).

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Maintain high ethical standards in all business dealings and relationships.
  • Perform other services for Biocostech Philippines Corporation its affiliates and its subsidiaries.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • With atleast three to five (3-5) years in sales and account management within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven experience in managing large teams and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the FMCG market dynamics, including distribution channels and retail strategies.
  • Computer literate with a high degree of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word), along with experience in using data analysis tools.
