Sales Manager
The Sales Manager is responsible for providing the strategic direction and day to day execution required for the EBSI Sales Team to meet its mission. This role takes direction from the Chairman and the board of the EBSI.
The Sales Manager will need to build strong, strategic relationships with current and prospective industry partners inside and outside the EBSI to meet the goals of growing the membership base, increasing participation in events and seminars, and keeping members informed about industry and legislative trends.
The Sales Manager is required to plan, organize, coordinate, and manage pre-need sales of vaults and funeral services, and at-need cemetery services.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and supervise the sales team and sales functions of the assigned location(s).
- Manage inventory and make pricing recommendations
- Recruit, select, train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of location sales team.
- Provide ongoing weekly coaching and training to the entire team.
- Develop, recommend, and implement short and long-range plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team.
- Review and approve sales contracts Daily
- Analyze data to establish reasonable and realistic sales goals.
- Collaborate with the Chairman and Board of Directors to identify, create, and implement strategic plans to actualize the sales department objectives.
- Coordinate the activity of all committees and act as the primary point person for all committee chairs.
- Identify and secure funding from all potential sources (private, corporate, government) and organize Board-level fundraising efforts.
- Develop partnerships with company stakeholders, member businesses, government entities, and relevant parties.
- Represent the company at social and corporate events in ways that strengthen the brand and communicate the association's message.

Marketing and branding
Web presence and social media strategy/management
Contract Management
Advertising Sales
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Ph.D, Master's Education & Certifications are an advantage.
- Licensed Real-Estate Broker & DHSUD is an advantage.
- Experience & Background: 5+ years of management experience with a demonstrated successful track record in the real estate, death care, chapels & columbarium industry is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, networking, and collaboration skills.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills, capable of working effectively with board members, staff members, agents, and committee chairs and members.
- Ability to represent the EBSI, maturely and professionally building strong relations with leaders in a wide variety of organizations within the industry.
- Ability to connect and relate with diverse groups of people at all levels of the profession.
