EOS Mechanical is a Chicago-based commercial HVAC contractor known for precision, innovation, and reliability. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team remotely and assist with takeoff services that support our estimating and operations teams.

Note: HVAC or construction experience is a plus, but not required. We are more interested in someone who is meticulous, reliable, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Review architectural and mechanical drawings (PDF or CAD format).
  • Count and classify mechanical elements such as ductwork, vents, and piping components.
  • Follow internal checklists and templates to ensure consistency.
  • Enter takeoff data into spreadsheets or estimating software.
  • Communicate progress and flag inconsistencies or questions.
  • Maintain accuracy across multiple drawing sets or project phases.

Requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail and consistency.
  • Ability to follow step-by-step instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable with reading technical documents and diagrams (training provided).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Reliable internet and computer setup.
  • Availability during some overlap with U.S. Central Time (at least 3 hours per day).
