Status: Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Work from Home
Rate: $4.50/hour
Shift: PST (U.S. Time)
Work Setup: Remote (with time tracker required)
Position Summary
The Commercial Takeoff Specialist is responsible for performing detailed electrical quantity takeoffs and material estimates for commercial projects. This role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and estimating tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency in project bids.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for electrical materials and labor.
Collaborate with estimators and project managers for cost estimates and bid packages.
Use takeoff software to prepare detailed reports and bills of materials (BOMs).
Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with standards and codes.
Qualifications
Associate's/Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2+ years of experience in electrical estimating or takeoffs.
Proficient in estimating/takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Trimble Accubid).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Must have i3 6th Gen or higher PC (or Mac equivalent).
