Job Title: Business Development Representative

Overview: In this role, we are looking for a Business Development Representative that can be described as creative, diligent, tenacious, passionate, intuitive, big picture thinkers, optimistic, self-motivated, adaptable and collaborative.

Responsibilities:

Schedule net new and existing business appointments on behalf of the sales teamOperate as a self-starter / hunter for new businessPartner with marketing to utilize business collateral and internal resource for customer outreachJoint account planning with managers and sales reps to grow pipeline and close dealsDevelop business opportunities, in conjunction with the assigned sales team within various accountsDevelop sales activities with new enterprise accountsDevelop sales pipeline by proactively calling to convert sales conversations to identified prospectsAssist in forecasting and account/opportunity details within SalesForcePropose, coordinate and participate in marketing activities within the territory

Qualifications:

Must enjoy being on the phone / making calls to prospective clients

Must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter

Must be able to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environmentCommunicate with sales reps and managers to build business relationshipsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWorking in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly

Problem solving and analytical tasks

Minimum of 2 years or more years of mid-market to enterprise salesSuccessful in engaging in conversation with C-Level clientsProven track record of setting net new and customer accounts; must have an in-depth understanding of technology trends and issuesProven ability to develop new sales with strong cold-calling and prospecting skillsMust have knowledge of solution/product selling and value-based selling techniques
