We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Accounting Manager to oversee the daily operations of our accounting department. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, lead audits, enforce internal controls, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical accounting expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to maintain the integrity of financial data.
  • Coordinate audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior accounting staff.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to improve financial performance and business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • At least 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
