Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, supervising staff, preparing financial reports, and supporting management in decision-making through accurate financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure proper financial reporting.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
  • Coordinate and support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience in accounting management, with strong knowledge of GAAP and local tax laws.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
  • High attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
