Job Description:


• Oversee the full spectrum of management accounting, including revenue collection, budgeting, procurement, and ensuring full compliance with government regulatory bodies, including but not limited to the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Insurance Commission, SEC, and DOLE.


• Manage and prepare payroll ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.


• Guide, mentor, motivate, and supervise the accounting junior team in their daily tasks and professional development.


• Ensure strict adherence to corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls, including proper filing of accounting and compliance documents both hard copy and soft copy formats.


• Lead and supervise accounts payable and receivable functions for accurate and timely processing.


• Coordinate the quarterly and annual closing of accounts and preparation of financial reports.


• Collaborate closely with the accounting team members for account analysis and reconciliation.


• Develop, implement, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and controls to optimize efficiency and accuracy.


• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy; CPA certification NOT required but an advantage.


• At least 5 years supervisory or managerial and general accounting experience.


• Comprehensive experience in BIR Tax compliance in the Philippines.


• Experience in managing payroll, government compliance, and day-to-day office administration.


• Strong and effective leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.


• With ability to guide, mentor, motivate, and supervise junior team members effectively.


• With ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.


• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities with attention to detail.


• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.


• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
