Employee Relations (ER) Assistant
Job Description:
The Employee Relations Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR Department in maintaining positive employee relations and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations. This role helps in handling employee concerns, documentation, disciplinary processes, and HR coordination tasks to promote a healthy and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of employee relations programs, policies, and disciplinary procedures.
- Help document incident reports, memos, and other employee-related records in coordination with HR Management.
- Support investigations and ensure due process is observed in employee-related cases.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and records.
- Assist in facilitating employee engagement programs, orientations, and HR-related communications.
- Coordinate with supervisors and department heads regarding attendance, behavior, and performance-related concerns.
- Prepare reports and summaries for management review as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor standards, and administrative procedures.
- Perform other HR tasks as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or any related field.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of HR experience (preferably in Employee Relations or General HR).
- Strong understanding of labor laws, company policies, and HR procedures (an advantage).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic HR tools or systems.
- Willing to work on-site at South Caloocan City.
- Can start immediately.
