About the role

Pearson (Educational Account) - HiEd Tech Support is a full-time customer service role based in Cebu City, Cebu. In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical support to higher education institutions using Pearson's educational technology platforms and solutions. Your focus will be on troubleshooting software issues, guiding customers through platform navigation, and ensuring a positive user experience for our academic partners.

What you'll be doing

  1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, and web chat
  2. Troubleshoot software and platform issues, identify solutions, and guide customers through problem resolution
  3. Assist customers with navigating Pearson's educational technology platforms and features
  4. Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate teams and follow up on resolutions
  5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and issue resolution
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and resources

What we're looking for

  1. 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or technical support role, preferably in an educational or technology-focused environment
  2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively explain solutions and provide a high level of customer service
  4. Familiarity with educational technology platforms and software, such as learning management systems or student information systems
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment and adapt to changing priorities
  6. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools to document and track customer interactions
