About the role

Join the Pearson (Educational Account) support team at AUXILIA INC' as a HiEd Tech Support specialist. As part of our dynamic customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our educational clients, ensuring they can seamlessly access and utilise Pearson's cutting-edge educational technology solutions. This full-time role is based in our Cebu City office.

What you'll be doing

  1. Respond to technical inquiries from Pearson's higher education clients via phone, email and chat, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions
  2. Guide users through the setup and use of Pearson's educational software and platforms
  3. Escalate complex technical problems to the appropriate teams and follow up to ensure timely resolution
  4. Capture detailed customer feedback and insights to help inform product improvements
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Pearson's educational technology offerings and best practices
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our customer support processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in a technical support or customer service role, ideally within the educational technology or software industry
  2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  4. Familiarity with learning management systems, student information systems, or other educational technology platforms
  5. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to continuous learning
  6. Fluency in English and Cebuano
