Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology/ Human Resources, or a relevant field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Employee Relations
- Can work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work under pressure, particularly when faced with a tight deadline
- Must be able to work normal hours, but also be willing to work overtime when necessary
- Analytical and computer literate.
- Knowledge and familiarity with employment equity regulations and labor law.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, Teamwork skills, Organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Close attention to detail; Solid ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions; Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet programs.
- Strong interpersonal and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- And other skills: Customer service skills, the ability to work collaboratively with others, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Brief Job Description:
- In charge of consolidating updates to the company's rules, regulations, and policies.
- Handles the daily administrative tasks in Employee Relations and HR duties of an organization.
- Assisting the HR manager in handling employee violations and concerns.
- Planning and implementing programs and processes to improve employee welfare.
- Managing employee records in Employee Relations.
- Managing HR-related documentation and highly confidential documents.
- Monitoring absence and holidays.
- Assisting in handling Employee Engagement/ Data Privacy/ Training and Employee Relations: Labor Law, including counseling of employees if necessary.
