Job Description:

General

  • Provide strategic and tactical advisory and guidance to Country HR pertaining to Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Human Rights and other related matters based on all Corporate, Global and Regional policies and guidelines and international and local labor standards.
  • Drive short-term and medium-term Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Human Rights and other related strategies in regionall context at scale with key internal partners and Country HR.
  • Implement and/or support Corporate, Global and Regional initatives related to Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Human Rights and other related matters.
  • Drive and/or support communication to increase awareness and compliance across the region.

Labor Relations

  • Provide updates on LR matters. to Global and/or Regional ER. Monitor LR situation including Collective Labor Agreements (CLAs) in countries and provide guidance to Country HR on any labor threats and risks, if applicable.
  • Keep updated on relevant political and Labor Relations development and trends in the region.
  • Follow up and provide support on actions needed from Country HR.

Employee Relations

  • Provide guidance to countries in preventing, mitigating and solving ER issues.
  • Advise and facilitate training of Country HR in practices and strategies in managing Employee Relations and Human Rights topics including but not limited to Building Great Employee Relations (BGER), etc.
  • Monitor, follow up and report completion rate on Global/Regional training programs and follow up and provide support on actions needed from Country HR.

Human Rights

  • Facilitate internal assessment, provide guidance and support on Human Right Reviews and Putting Our People First (POPF) Reviews to Country HR to ensure compliance with DHL Group's internal and external Employee Relations and Human Rights standards. This includes the development of action plans to address any findings and monitor and follow up of the implementation of actions.
  • Promote continuous benchmarking across the region through a central database based on the Human Rights Review results, Compliance Excellence Certification (CEC) results, etc.
  • Monitor, report and follow up compliance of all countries through the completion rate of the training,
  • Review and conduct pre-assessment of all EOS Open Comments and work with countries to initiate and complete investigation of all valid/plausible incidents related to Human Rights, Compliance and HR.
  • Provide guidance to the Case Manager and Investigators in fulfilling their roles to ensure fairness, quality and timeliness in accordance to the step-by-step procedures prescribed by Global Compliance and ER and in compliance to labor laws.
  • Conduct pre-assessment to determine if an incident or report should be converted to a case in compliance with the Corporate Compliance and Global ER guidelines and labor laws.
  • Conduct investigation of cases which cannot be handled by Country HR and assigned by Global ER and present findings and recommendation in compliance with the Corporate Compliance and Global ER guidelines and labor laws.
  • Administer the Report and Case Management of each report/case in the system, from pre-assessment up to case closure including filing of documentary evidences of activities during investigation and implementation of corrective actions, if any. Monitor, follow up and report progress of all open cases and implementation of corrective measures of closed cases.

HR Compliance

  • Monitor, report and follow up compliance of all countries through the completion rate of all mandatory trainings.
  • Provide guidance to Country HR on specific circumtances to review their initial assessment of the COI declaration and finalize mitigation measures if applicable..
  • Monitor, report and follow up compliance of all countries on the timely follow up and closure of COI declarations with complete and accurate entries in the system and forms.
  • Review entries and provide feedback and guidance to Country HR on the completeness and accuracy of their COI entries in the system. Work with Country HR to ensure that all new and/or additional screening are implemented properly and in compliance with applicable Global policies and local laws i.e. securing employee consents, etc.
  • Liaise between Global ER and concerned Country HR to complete the screening and verification in case of system matches. Review monthly report on country compliance and match with new hires report.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree holder in Psychology, HRDM, or any similar field
  • With at least 7-10 years experience as Employee Relations Manager or any relevant experience
  • Has solid work experience on Employee Discipline, HR Compliance topics (Code of Conduct, Human Rights, etc.), auditing and conducting training programs
  • Good stakeholder management
  • Project Management and tracking skills
  • Good proficiency in Excel and PPT
  • Highly organized and self-sufficient.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to be assigned in Makati City.
