The Key Accounts Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and expanding strategic business relationships with key clients, particularly Mercury Drug and other major FMCG accounts. This role ensures strong business partnerships, drives sales growth, and executes effective account management strategies to achieve company objectives. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in handling modern trade, key distributors, or national drugstore chains within the FMCG or pharmaceutical sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Drug Stores and other key accounts, ensuring excellent service and strong partnership management.
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales targets, brand visibility, and category growth.
  • Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, promotions, trade terms, and marketing support.
  • Identify opportunities to expand product listings, increase distribution, and introduce new products within assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to execute trade promotions, merchandising, and in-store activities.
  • Monitor sales performance, forecast demand, and analyze sell-in and sell-out data to optimize inventory and sales performance.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and account support.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and category performance to recommend strategic actions.
  • Strengthen long-term partnerships with buyers, category managers, and decision-makers at key accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Trade Marketing within the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience managing Mercury Drug or major retail chains is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of modern trade and drugstore operations, category management, and promotional planning.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and MS Office applications.
  • Results-driven with a high level of professionalism and strategic thinking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php70, Php80,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
