Brief Description

The Research Executive (Remote) will be responsible for conducting literature reviews, designing evaluations, and analysing research projects and programmes. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about well-being science, skilled in research and data analysis, and able to work independently while collaborating virtually with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement research projects and programme evaluations that promote well-being at individual and organisational levels.
  • Conduct literature reviews to synthesise insights from well-being and psychology research.
  • Analyse and track impact data, using tools such as R, Python, and JASP.
  • Prepare and present clear, professional Impact Evaluation Reports for clients and stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new research methods and tools to strengthen quality and relevance.
  • Collaborate virtually with clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of impact-driven projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably with a background in Psychology, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated interest in well-being science or positive psychology.
  • At least 1 year of experience in research and/or programme implementation.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and reporting (knowledge of R, Python, and JASP.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate insights clearly and impactfully.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will go through the following stages:

  • Pre-Interview (Online Test): Assessment of research and analytical skills.
  • First Interview (1 hour, online): Discussion of test results and role-related capabilities.
  • Second Interview (1 hour, online): Conversation on culture fit and alignment with Happiness Initiative's values.
