Requesting a Virtual Assistant – Hospice Scheduler

Job Summary:
Supports daily scheduling activities for hospice field clinicians and coordinates logistics, including medical supply requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with visit scheduling, rescheduling, and coordinating availability with nurses and aides
- Communicate with families, facilities, or staff for schedule confirmations
- Track and coordinate medical supply requests with vendors or internal department
- Monitor visit completion and flag any missed or delayed visits
- Update EMR scheduling board and status in real time
- Provide operational support to the hospice care team
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Prior scheduling or healthcare operations experience preferred
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Knowledge of hospice workflow or EMR is an advantage
