Accounting Clerk
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and execute outgoing payments to suppliers and vendors in a timely manner.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve any discrepancies with vendor accounts.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between company records and bank statements.
- Maintain and update supplier records and financial documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, address payment issues, and support month-end closing activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an accounting clerk or similar role in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with basic accounting procedures, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Competency in MS Office (especially Excel), databases, and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to perform filing and administrative duties.
- Aptitude for working with numbers and financial data.
- Ability to reconcile accounts, research discrepancies, and generate summary reports in a timely manner.
- At minimum, college degree or relevant certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
