Accounting Clerk (Work From Home)

The company is a wholesale coffee roaster focused on superior quality and maximum customer satisfaction.

Job Description:

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk with general accounting knowledge; prior experience is preferred. Familiarity with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable (A/R): Invoicing and customer payments system entry.

  • Accounts Payable (A/P): Bill entry.

  • Data Entry: Monthly charge entry for multiple company credit card statements.

  • Accounting System Maintenance: Updating the item list with current status, including pricing, descriptions, and SKU numbers.

  • Customer Credit Card Processing.

  • Support & Projects: Assisting the Controller and Accounting Manager with various reports and additional tasks on upcoming projects, such as:

    • Helping to implement a new accounting system.

    • Building various financial reports.

    • Possible customer collections, as needed.

Qualifications;

  • Prior experience in an accounting role is preferred.

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Ability to work effectively in a Work From Home (WFH) setup.

Work Schedule:
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST).
