Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This position ensures smooth cash flow, timely payments, payroll accuracy, and financial reporting—helping the business make informed decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily Record-Keeping: Track sales, reconcile POS reports, prepare cash and deposit summaries.
  • Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, match POs and receipts, prepare payments, and reconcile statements.
  • Accounts Receivable: Issue and track invoices, follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Payroll Support: Verify timesheets, prepare payroll summaries, ensure compliance with tax/labor laws.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile daily cash drawers and monthly bank statements.
  • Inventory Support: Track purchases, support COGS reporting, and monitor inventory discrepancies.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly financial summaries and assist with monthly reports.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain organized records, assist with tax filings, ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Work with kitchen, bar, service, and management to resolve financial issues.
  • Budget prep, petty cash handling, POS data audits.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience (preferably in retail or food industry)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and time management abilities

Hours and Days:

  • Tuesday to Saturday; 9AM to 6PM
