Full-time | Long-term Australian role

We're an Australian fire protection company. We need a Facility Engineer with experience in wet fire systems to support our inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair team.

About the role

You'll review inspection reports, interpret defects, prepare quotes, and support Australian clients and technicians. This is a technical role, not general admin.

Key responsibilities

  • Review inspection and testing reports (hydrants, sprinklers, pumps, valves)
  • Identify and explain defects in simple terms
  • Categorise defects into compliance and maintenance (Critical or Non-critical)
  • Prepare repair quotes
  • Support field technicians
  • Speak with clients about required works
  • Update job systems and service registers
  • Track recurring issues across assets

Required experience

  • Facility Engineer, Building Engineer, Fire/MEP Engineer, or similar
  • Direct exposure to fire pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, alarms
  • Experience handling monthly/annual fire testing
  • Experience reviewing contractor reports and defect lists
  • Strong English (written and spoken)
  • Good problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Reliable internet and quiet workspace

Monday to Friday
