Service Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Service Manager to ensure the seamless operation of our appliance service business. You will be the operational backbone, owning critical processes from warranty claims and parts logistics to customer escalations and performance analytics. Your goal is to drive efficiency, maximize revenue collection, and maintain exceptional service standards for our partners and customers.

You will work closely with our Dispatch & Service teams coordinating resources, and assisting both teams at times, to help us achieve and exceed core business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence & Process Management:
• Proactively manage warranty claim files to prevent backlogs and quickly address any overdue items.
• Oversee the invoicing process to ensure timely billing and revenue collection for completed work.
• Manage the parts order lifecycle: monitor backorders, help resolve "stuck" orders, and coordinate scheduling installations with Dispatchers for ready parts.
• Own the daily update and resolution of items in the company issue tracker.
• Customer & Partner Relations:
• Act as the primary point of contact for all service partner and escalated customer communications.
• Promptly address and resolve customer escalations, confirming solutions with senior management when needed.
• Immediately handle all update requests and inquiries from warranty companies.
• Reporting, Analytics & Team Leadership:
• Compile daily reports on all key metrics across the Service team.
• Deliver weekly reports on progress, challenges, and team performance insights.
• Conduct monthly data processing, analytics & reporting on parts orders/usage and warranty company payments/invoicing to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE in a role within the service coordination, operations, or business environments.
• Experience in the appliance repair, HVAC, Plumbing, Roofing, Handyman, Pressure Washing, Property Maintenance or another related home service industry IS HIGHLY PREFERRED .
• Native or near-native proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory.
• Superior organizational and time-management skills with a relentless focus on detail and follow-through.
• Proven ability to analyze data, create reports, and make process improvement recommendations.
• Good managerial track record, with experience in effectively managing cross-function teams.
• Strong, proactive communication style and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Stable high-speed internet connection and a professional home office setup.
• Technical aptitude and familiarity with service management software or CRMs is a major plus.
