We're Hiring: Senior Electrical & Low-Voltage Engineer – Estimator & Project Support

We're seeking a Senior Electrical & Low-Voltage Engineer (Estimating & Projects) who will lead the estimating function and support project execution, helping us deliver high-quality solutions to clients across diverse industries.

Your Core Mission: Estimating Excellence

This role centers on developing accurate, competitive, and comprehensive estimates for electrical and low-voltage projects. You will be the go-to expert for interpreting plans, reviewing specifications, and ensuring that every proposal is both feasible and profitable.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical and low-voltage systems, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
  • Analyze drawings, bid documents, RFQs/RFPs, and site requirements to produce precise and timely estimates.
  • Identify value-engineering opportunities and propose cost-effective alternatives.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
  • Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs), take-offs, and cost breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to support project handover and execution.
  • Assist with project planning and technical reviews as needed.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or related field.
  • Strong background in a US market.
  • Highly skilled in electrical systems, wiring panels, and switch gears.
  • 2+ years of experience in estimating electrical and/or low-voltage systems.
  • Proven expertise in preparing BOQs, take-offs, and detailed cost proposals.
  • Strong background in CCTV, access control, structured cabling, fire alarm, and related LV systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Strong communication and vendor coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.
