Client Overview:

A 40-year-old conglomerate based in Iloilo province is in urgent need of a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT HEAD to support its business expansion.

Job Summary:

The Business Development Head will be instrumental in driving the company's expansion strategy through the identification of new business opportunities, development of strategic partnerships, and growth of market presence. This leadership role requires a seasoned professional with a strong commercial acumen, deep industry insight, and the ability to build high-value relationships across sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the execution of short- and long-term business development strategies aligned with corporate goals.
  • Identify new markets, partnerships, and project opportunities within and beyond Iloilo and the Visayas region.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with property developers, government agencies, investors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of compelling business proposals, feasibility studies, and investment cases.
  • Drive end-to-end deal processes, including negotiations, contract development, and closing.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments (e.g., Projects, Legal, Finance) to ensure alignment and operational support.
  • Monitor business development performance metrics and provide regular reports to executive leadership.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, ideally within the construction or real estate sectors.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and national market dynamics, particularly in the real estate and infrastructure space.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and engage with partners and opportunities on the ground.

Note:

-This role is onsite in Iloilo. Iloilo-based candidates and those who are from other regions who are willing to relocate in Iloilo are encouraged to apply.

-A competitive compensation package and relocation allowance shall be provided by the client to those who are non-resident of Iloilo. (Rate posted is negotiable depending on the candidate's overall qualifications).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php70, Php90,000.00 per month
