The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Lead - B2B SaaS to lead the growth of our B2B SaaS solutions, focused on marketing and e-commerce enablement for brands, retailers and distributors operating on leading marketplaces such as Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and more.

You will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition and expanding strategic relationships with existing clients, leveraging your deep understanding of digital commerce, marketplace dynamics, and marketing technologies. Your ability to craft tailored, high-impact SaaS proposals will be key to helping brands scale effectively across Southeast Asia's e-commerce ecosystem.

This is a strategic, high-visibility role that works closely with cross-functional teams across business development, product, and marketing—regionally.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute a robust go-to-market and client acquisition strategy aligned with company goals, targeting mid-to-large brands, retailers and distributors clients.
  • Own the full B2B sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Provide timely feedback to product and leadership teams on customer needs, market shifts, and emerging trends to inform roadmap and strategy.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities using a structured and data-driven approach.
  • Create compelling, customized value propositions that demonstrate how our SaaS solutions solve marketplace pain points—from marketing attribution to product visibility and performance optimization.
  • Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations with client-side senior stakeholders—brand directors, e-commerce leads, digital marketing managers, and platform partners.
  • Maintain deep relationships across marketplace platforms and ecosystem enablers to identify co-selling, co-marketing, and integration opportunities.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services and modules across existing Intrepid accounts.
  • Represent the company at key e-commerce and marketing tech events to strengthen our network, stay ahead of market trends, and enhance brand visibility.

Who we look for—the ideal profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or related roles - preferably in B2B SaaS, martech, or e-commerce tech (ERP, OMS, CX, Store Ops, Inventory mgmt etc).
  • Strong track record in acquiring and growing enterprise accounts, ideally within the marketplace or retail e-commerce space.
  • Deep understanding of Southeast Asia's marketplace ecosystem (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, etc.), and how brands grow across these platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of quantitative analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
