ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Building Designer or Architect to join our client's team. This role involves contributing to a wide range of commercial projects while fostering strong professional relationships through effective collaboration and high-quality design outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

  • Manage all stages of the design process, from client meetings to project handover.
  • Collaborate across multiple projects to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Prepare detailed and compliant design documentation aligned with Australian Standards.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors throughout all project phases.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency in drawings, documentation, and design execution.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant Australian industry experience.
  • Proficient in ArchiCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of QDC, National Construction Code, and Australian Standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive and self-driven with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
