About the role

As the Building Engineer at Cebu Landmasters, Inc.', you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the operations of our commercial and residential properties in the Cebu Central Visayas region. This full-time position will see you overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our buildings, ensuring they run efficiently and provide a comfortable environment for our tenants and residents.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting regular inspections and assessments of building systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety equipment
  2. Performing preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to address any issues or problems that arise
  3. Coordinating with external contractors and service providers to deliver specialized maintenance and repair services
  4. Monitoring and optimizing the energy efficiency of building systems to reduce costs and environmental impact
  5. Responding to tenant/resident requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  6. Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and building performance data
  7. Providing regular reports to management on the overall condition and performance of our properties

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a building engineer or facilities technician, preferably within the real estate or property management industry
  2. Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety equipment
  3. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
  4. Ability to read and interpret building plans, schematics, and maintenance manuals
  5. Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively liaise with tenants, residents, and contractors
  6. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  7. Familiarity with building automation systems and energy management software
  8. Relevant certifications or licenses, such as HVAC, electrical, or plumbing, would be an advantage
