Marketing Officer

About the role

Cebu Landmasters, Inc. is seeking an experienced Marketing Officer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our Multi-Segment projects in Visayas and Mindanao. The Marketing Officer aims to co-lead in the development in marketing strategies and programs for the projects in scope, and to focus in the flawless and timely execution of an approved marketing programs that will support sales generation activities, SBU objectives and establish strong company and project branding identities. He/she is also expected to bring in new ideas and sound innovations to marketing efforts in CLI.

What you'll be doing

Co-leading/supporting in Marketing Strategies and Programs Development

• Assists the Marketing Manager in the conduct of Market Research ensuing that research activities are performed according to requirements and accepted standards.
• Develops and designs with Marketing Manager proposals, advertisements, internal communication pieces, and/or related collateral materials; participates in and oversees the production of such materials by providing direction to applicable individuals / parties.
• Collaborate marketing activities with the different departments ensuring that marketing activities are effectively implemented and aligned with corporate objectives.
• Review sales reports to determine the proper implementation of media strategy
• Monitors marketing efforts of competitors to determine competitor marketing direction and strategies.

Execution of Marketing Strategies & Programs

• Executes approved marketing plans, events, exhibits, digital campaigns and other activities ensuring that logistics are properly coordinated with suppliers, SBU teams and team members
• Prepares the outline and deck of the necessary materials needed for the implementation of the marketing activities and the project.
• Monitor, compose, create and post online content on company's website and social media accounts and provide valuable report, feedback and insight on each platform.
• Coordinates with suppliers, ad agencies, media and other departments ensuring that ads and other media conform to company and project requirements.
• Monitors media and events exposure ensuring that media and events conform to specifications.
• Oversees the construction and maintenance of scale model units and model units at the project site ensuring that construction conforms to schedule and standards, premises are always maintained and ready for viewing.

Networking and Administrative Functions

• Assists the Marketing Manager in the bidding process ensuring that required documents are prepared and logistic needs are met.
• Maintains a pool of suppliers, media contacts, and other connections for accreditation making sure that suppliers and contacts meet Cebu Landmasters standard, and the pool is regularly updated.
• Consolidates post-event reports from Sales, suppliers and other departments to guide future similar activities
• Prepares request for disbursement and other documents necessary for processing payments for ad agencies, media publications, networks and other suppliers making sure that the information contained is accurate.
• Drafts proposal letters for promos and events ensuring that activities and other terms as approved by the Marketing Manager are indicated.
• Monitors the usage of marketing materials, ensuring that marketing materials are effectively utilized, and sufficient supply is available when needed.
• Maintains marketing inventory by regularly checking and replenishing materials, supplies and promotional items and secure safekeeping and proper storage of such items.
• Maintains department files ensuring that filed documents are efficiently retrieved when needed.
• Document digital images of marketing events, activities and construction updates and maintain electronic files and records of such.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Marketing Innovations and New Ideas

• Confers with the Sr. Marketing Manager  in creating written plans for new marketing initiatives, including budget allocation, message development, creative direction, target audiences, timelines, and/or other related issues.
• Works with Sr. Marketing Manager and assigned Marketing Creative for the execution and collaborate with corresponding departments for execution of new innovations and ideas.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing and product research, marketing strategies, advertising, media placements, merchandising & product positioning

Additional requirements

• Knowledge of formulating and implementing marketing strategies
• Familiarity with advertising, digital marketing, media placements & merchandising
• Ability to do market research
• Ability to communicate well—both oral and written and the use of MS Office Tools
• Skills in Photoshop, Illustrator or any other design software
