Residential Draftsperson

Suporta Solutions is seeking a skilled Residential Draftsperson to work closely with Australian builders to produce accurate and detailed construction drawings for residential homes. This role is vital to ensuring homes are built to specification, meet design intent, and comply with Australian building codes.

This position is fully remote, provided you have a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a professional, distraction-free workspace. You will collaborate directly with Australian clients and internal teams, so excellent English communication is essential.

• Draft site plans, floor plans, elevations, and façade options for residential homes
• Update and revise documentation based on client and design team markups
• Prepare accurate electrical, internal layout, and structural drawings
• Collaborate with estimating, construction, and design teams to resolve drawing issues
• Maintain meticulous version control and organized drawing records
• Assist in design coordination and support other drafting-related tasks as needed

• Diploma, certificate, or degree in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years' experience in residential construction drafting
• Proficient in AutoCAD, ArchiCAD or similar software highly desirable
• Familiarity with Australian residential building codes is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple revisions
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently in a remote or office environment while managing deadlines
• Reliable internet connection and professional, distraction-free workspace
