Job Title: Sales Team Leader
Type of Work: Full Time
Compensation: $6 per hour
Hours Per Week: 60 hours (willing to work 12 hours shift; 5 days per week)
Overview:
Are you an experienced team leader with a strong background in managing high-performing sales teams—particularly in structured, fast-paced industries such as telecommunications or digital services? We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Chat Sales Team Leader to oversee and empower our remote sales team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a performance-based environment, excels at coaching individuals, and is passionate about driving revenue growth through effective leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Motivate: Inspire and guide a team of chat sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strategize and Grow: Design and implement strategies to maximize sales opportunities, focusing on measurable results and customer acquisition.
- Analyze and Improve: Monitor team performance metrics, analyze sales data, and continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and results.
- Coach and Train: Deliver targeted coaching and training to improve the team's overall productivity and individual performance.
- Client Management: Oversee key client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and acting as a point of escalation for any issues.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client and sales records, and generate reports on performance metrics.
- Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams such as marketing and product development to optimize sales operations and client service.
- Stay Ahead: Keep up with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
- Compliance: Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
Non-negotiables:
- Telco Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role, particularly in the telecommunications industry, leading teams in a structured, performance-driven environment.
- Sales Leadership: Proven track record in driving sales results, ideally within chat-based sales or similar platforms.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively coach, guide, and motivate team members.
- Resilience and Grit: Demonstrated resilience and adaptability to thrive in high-pressure situations while maintaining high performance and discipline.
Other qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Proficiency in platforms such as G Suite, Discord, WhatsApp, and similar chat tools.
- Strong leadership and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
- Experience collaborating with various departments to optimize sales strategies and customer experience.
- Problem-solving mindset with a results-oriented approach.
- Strong commitment to upholding company policies and compliance standards.
