BROAD SCOPE

  • Contribute to the achievement of the sector management plan by sourcing qualified service providers and securing competitive service rates through a strategic bidding process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifying Logistics Partners: Analyze customer requirements to identify suitable partners for logistics operations.
  • Partner Selection: Facilitate the selection of logistics partners through a structured bidding process, including RFQs, profit simulation, rate and condition negotiation, and price and operational evaluation in coordination with the bidding committee.
  • Partner Pool Management: Conduct credit assessments and manage the pool of qualified logistics partners on a semi-annual basis.
  • Logistics Service Rate Provision: Provide optimal cost solutions to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
  • Logistics Cost Innovation: Implement cost-based innovation strategies to enhance operational efficiency and increase profitability.
  • Market Research, Analysis, and Forecasting: Conduct research and analysis of logistics market conditions, including demand and supply capacity, to minimize operational risks and enable proactive decision-making.
  • Market Condition Index Management: Manage and monitor market condition indices for early detection and mitigation of potential business risks.

REQUIREMENTS

Education / Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in any four-year college/university program.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics operations, procurement, or sales.
  • Experience in freight forwarding is preferred.
  • Exposure to international freight operations or pricing is a plus, but not mandatory.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
