Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our digital marketing team. This role is critical in driving revenue growth, expanding our client base, and strengthening long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, customer journey stages, and industry tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and closing deals.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to client needs and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Negotiate contracts and secure favorable agreements to support business goals.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (SEO, content, PPC, social media, web development) to deliver solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Use CRM and data analytics tools to manage pipelines, track performance, and optimize business development activities.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Sales & Business Development Skills:
- Proven track record of sales growth and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Expertise sales strategies, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Strong relationship building and client management abilities.
Digital Marketing & Industry Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of digital marketing best practices, including the 5 A's of the customer journey (Awareness, Attraction, Action, Acquisition, Advocacy).
- Prior experience in a digital marketing agency or related industry.
- Familiarity with tools for lead generation, tracking, and performance analysis.
Communication & Soft Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for pitches, proposals, and negotiations.
- Adaptability to market changes and evolving business needs.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities.
- Enthusiasm and a growth mindset, demonstrating genuine passion for the company's success.
Technical & Operational Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM systems for pipeline and client management.
- Data analysis skills to evaluate performance, optimize strategies, and present ROI.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and overcome challenges.
