The Business Development Specialist will play a key role in driving lead generation and nurturing qualified opportunities for the sales and marketing teams. This position is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and managing potential clients while maintaining accurate forecasts on the volume of leads expected to reach Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct prospecting calls and desk research on potential accounts to gather key details such as decision-makers, contact information, and current IT providers, while mapping the organizational decision-making structure.
  • Use specialized research tools (e.g., LinkedIn, online databases) to identify business challenges and potential sales opportunities within target accounts.
  • Generate and maintain a consistent flow of qualified, sales-ready leads for both direct and channel sales teams.
  • Build and nurture strong business relationships with key accounts to ensure our solutions remain top-of-mind for future needs or reviews.
  • Qualify prospects according to established criteria before passing them to field or channel sales teams as MQLs.
  • Follow up and further nurture pre-qualified prospects provided by sales teams through both phone and email communication.
  • Handle inbound leads from phone and web-based inquiries (e.g., "Request a Quote" or "Contact Us" submissions on the company website).
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Director and sales teams on marketing campaigns and special events (e.g., webinars, industry conferences), including profiling and post-event follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate data and pipeline forecasts within , ensuring weekly updates on MQL volumes.
  • Participate in regular one-on-one meetings with Field Marketing and Marketing Operations to exchange feedback, monitor performance, and identify training needs.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of customer and prospect data, including information related to Multi-National Corporations (MNCs).

Skills & Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a confident, professional phone presence when engaging business and technical decision-makers.
  • Strong written communication skills with exceptional grammar and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook); experience with Salesforce and LinkedIn is an advantage.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in B2B IT or telecommunications, or in telemarketing/telesales involving upselling or cross-selling solutions such as data center, colocation, network, managed services, or cloud solutions.
  • Business-level fluency in English and Filipino is required; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business Management or a related field preferred.

Performance Metrics

  • Number of sales-ready leads generated and accepted by the sales team.
  • Percentage of qualified appointments deemed valuable by the sales team.
  • Total pipeline value generated from passed leads.
  • Forecast accuracy against target.

Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary
  • Variable Incentive – Based on the number of sales-ready opportunities accepted by the Sales team and the total pipeline value achieved.

Pay: Php32, Php42,000.00 per month
