Job Description:

  • Conducts laboratory scale production as part of experimental study.
  • Conducts continuous product shelf-life study to set maximum shelf-life declaration.
  • Conducts sensory evaluation of developed products for approval, existing expired products that passed micro-analysis to verify if still okay for house sale.
  • Evaluates samples submitted by supplier for possible alternative source of material/ingredients.
  • Conducts actual stacking height testing of incoming new corrugated box for possible alternative supplier.
  • Assists Assistant R&D Manager in conducting experiments.
  • Request and follow up materials needed for experiments and production of Delimondo.
  • Records data gathered from experimentation and R&D study and yield monitoring data.
  • Prepares monthly activity report to supervisor for inclusion to her monthly report.
  • Evaluates plastic packaging materials samples thru in-line testing for possible alternatives source.
  • Responsible for the lay-out development of Delimondo labels and corrugated box.
  • Develops and maintains process for monitoring ingredient attribute values (COA's, ingredient testing) reviewing results and taking appropriate actions when values are outside specification
  • Provides Nutrition Facts data computed from Nutritional Analysis Results of third party as one of the requirements of CPR Application in compliance with FDA
  • Labeling Guidelines of Processed Foods.
  • Provides needed documents such as Micro Analysis, Phosphate Declaration, Photos of Actual Products as requirement of CPR application to Assistant R&D Manager.
  • Generates barcode and case code needed for label development of all products.
  • Conducts research needed for development of new food products or improvement or re-launch of existing ones.
  • Think, evaluate, validate, alternative or substitute material, packaging and process
  • Provide cost savings support by evaluating alternative ingredients and packaging as well as the process and formula optimization.
  • Control confidential records, identify priorities, organize and achieve targets within given time.
  • Others may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • BS Food Technology/ Nutrition or any related course.
  • Experience:
  • 1-3 years experience in product research and development
  • Skill/Other Requirements
  • Food safety and health standard
  • Knowledge able on industry's GMP/HACCP and FSSC standards and requirements.

Pay: Php23, Php26,000.00 per month
