Occupational Health Nurse

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for providing emergency treatment, promoting health and safety programs to employees. Responsible for securing and developing all records, equipment, and programs related to occupational health services.
What are the Roles and Responsibilities
1. Administer First Aid and Immediate Medical Care
- Provide urgent medical assistance, including first aid treatment, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration to employees in need.
2. Coordinate and Oversee Annual Physical Examinations (APE)
- Organize schedules, secure venues, and ensure smooth execution of APE, while addressing medical concerns identified during the examination.
3. Maintain and Secure Employee Medical Records
- Accurately document medical cases, file confidential employee health records, and generate monthly reports on workplace illnesses and injuries.
4. Implement Workplace Health and Safety Programs
- Conduct health awareness initiatives, safety orientations, vaccine administration, and wellness campaigns to promote employee well-being.
5. Monitor Workplace Safety and Hygiene Compliance
- Conduct regular health and safety inspections, collaborate with Safety Officers to address workplace hazards, and ensure proper sanitation of medical facilities.
6. Assist in Workplace Health Monitoring and Compliance
- Track and report employees' health status, issue fit-to-work clearances, and coordinate with the Food Safety Team on any health-related concerns affecting workplace safety.
7. Assess and Recommend Medical Referrals
- Evaluate employees' health concerns and recommend further consultation with specialists when necessary to ensure proper medical management.
QUALIFCATIONS:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science Nursing
- Must be Licensed Nurse
- With at least 1-2 years relevant experience in Occupational Health Nurse or in the same field or industry
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
- Willing to be based in Tanza Cavite
