Senior Engineer

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer
• Knowledge in construction methodologies, read blueprints and understand other technical aspects of construction
• Experience in planning, project management, design & client liaison.
• At least 5-10 years of work experience in real estate industry / horizontal housing experience
• Resolving complex technical issues and coming up with fast and efficient solutions.
• Ability to assess the financial feasibility and impact of proposed budget items and also alternatives.
• Ability to handle people efficiently and to communicate effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications and AutoCAD.
• Background in Engineering Transit Level & Theodolite

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports to the Head Project Engineer to review progress and to discuss future steps.
• Responsible for maintaining project-specific documents (drawings, plans, etc.) in tracking project progress. Files all project documents in an appropriate database or library and ensures that all documents are accurate and have been accepted by the Head Project Engineer .
• Identifies any potential issues or risks that could affect the progression of the project. Communicates these items with the Head Project Engineer , and identifies potential solutions.
• Monitors the project schedule closely, including deadlines for each project task. Regularly checks that every deadline is still possible and reports any potential delays to the Senior Site Manager
