HR Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Experienced HR Assistant to support our HR department in daily operations and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in HR functions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. This role will assist in the administration of HR policies, programs, and procedures while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in creating and posting job advertisements on various platforms.
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Conduct initial phone interviews or assessments.
- Coordinate and support new hire onboarding, including document verification, orientation, and training logistics.
- Maintain applicant tracking system and update recruitment databases.
2. Employee Records & HRIS Management
- Maintain and update employee records in physical and digital formats.
- Enter and manage data in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies.
3. Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Collect and verify attendance, leave records, and other inputs for payroll processing.
- Liaise with the finance/payroll department to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and queries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
4. Employee Relations & Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Help facilitate employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and feedback collection.
- Support HR Manager in addressing employee concerns and escalating issues when necessary.
5. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and internal policies.
- Assist in maintaining and auditing compliance-related documents such as contracts, policy acknowledgments, and training records.
- Prepare reports for internal audits or external regulators as needed.
6. Training & Development Support
- Coordinate logistics for training programs (scheduling, invitations, materials).
- Track training attendance and assist in evaluating training effectiveness.
- Maintain training databases and compliance certificates.
7. General Administrative Support
- Support HR team with administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, filing, and documentation.
- Assist in preparing HR reports, dashboards, and monthly summaries.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in an HR support or assistant role.
- Experience with HRIS platforms preferred.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Knowledge of labor laws and confidentiality requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based or hybrid depending on company policy.
- May require occasional travel for recruitment events or training sessions.
- Standard 40-hour workweek with flexibility during peak HR cycles (e.g., performance reviews, recruitment drives).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php14, Php16,000.00 per month
