Compliance Officer

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local, and national food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, Department of Health (DOH)).
  • Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing company policies and procedures related to food safety, hygiene, employee conduct, and workplace safety.
  • Conduct routine and surprise audits of cafeteria operations, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff, managers, and suppliers to ensure all food handling, preparation, and storage practices are compliant.
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws, including wage and hour regulations, workplace safety (OSHA), and anti-discrimination policies.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions for employees on food safety, workplace ethics, and regulatory updates.
  • Investigate compliance violations or complaints, propose corrective measures, and oversee their implementation.
  • Prepare detailed reports for senior management on compliance status, audit findings, and risk assessments.
  • Serve as the point of contact for regulatory inspections and certifications.
  • Keep abreast of changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

HR Related Functions

  • Assist in HR programs, particularly employee training, safety, health, security,

and benefits.

  • Prepare and monitor employment documents, including employment contracts, appointment letters, and exit interviews.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including tardiness, absenteeism, performance appraisals.
  • Support onboarding by orienting new employees regarding company policies and procedures, and safety best practices.
  • Monitor compliance of newly hired employees to orientation requirements.
  • Help conduct employee attitude surveys and collate results.
  • Support outlet-level hygiene checks and assist in the issuance of disciplinary
  • memoranda when necessary.
  • Lead and conduct tool box meetings with outlet supervisor to address recurring issues from an HR, Operations, and Safety standpoint.

Safety Officer Functions

  • Act as the outlet Safety Officer representative ensuring adherence to safety, health, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work practices to ensure compliance with company safety policies and government regulations.
  • Identify hazards, recommend corrective measures, and monitor follow-up actions.
  • Assist in accident investigations, documentation, and the development of
  • preventive action plans.
  • Maintain outlet safety documentation and assist with compliance requirements,
  • including coordination with regulatory bodies (e.g., DOLE).
  • Promote safety awareness by assisting in training programs related to workplace safety.
  • Prepare reports on safety inspections, incidents, and compliance status for submission to clients and Corporate Leadership.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
